From Seizure to Drug Arrest

|

44 year-old Alphonso Anderson, was arrested for drug possession soon after being treated for a seizure. The New Yorker was aboard a passenger bus on April 28th when he underwent his attack. The bus was on the New Jersey Turnpike when the bus driver noticed what was happening and quickly pulled off to the side of the highway. 9-1-1 was dialed and state police and EMT arrived shortly on scene.

While being assessed, one of the EMT respondents went through his belongings to find a form of ID on hand. While finding his ID however, they happened to stumble upon his drug supply of crack cocaine and marijuana. With 4 ounces of crack cocaine and 3 pounds of marijuana, this totaled up to a whopping $29,000. He was taken to the JFK Medical Center shortly after to be treated for his seizure.

Once he was released, Anderson was quickly arrested and detained in the Middlesex County Jail. He is now facing a bail of $100,000 after being charged with counts of distribution and possession of crack cocaine and marijuana.
